Blog Comments v1.1

Posted 13 July 2006 in by Sam Brown -

Ronald Heft has updated his Blog Comments Pepper to v1.1.

The Blog Comments Pepper displays the recent comments on your blog within Mint’s beautiful interface.

This version of Blog Comments is a Major Update and has the following change:

Switched Blog Comments’ core from MagpieRSS to SimplePie providing the following fixes:
Unicode characters will now display instead of question marks.
Better date handling.
If the date of the comment is not available Blog Comments will now say “Not Available” instead of “Around 37 years ago”.
Blog Comments is now compatible with more server configurations.

Note: If you’re updating Blog Comments to version 1.1 or later, you may delete rss_cache.inc, rss_fetch.inc, rss_parse.inc, rss_utils.inc, and the extlib folder from Blog Comments’ directory on your server.
