New Pepper - Nametags v0.05
Posted 12 October 2006 in Pepper by Sam Brown - Comment
Hans van Kilsdonk has released a brand new Pepper that I am sure a lot of people will be interested in, Nametags.
Nametags for Mint 1.2 is a Pepper where you can tag your visitors. It views the visitors information like XXX Strong mint does but now you can add some extra tags to specific visitors.
Users can be tagged via IP Address or Cookie.
Tagging by IP Address:
You can add a tag to an IP address so when this IP address visits your website the tag is added in the visitors statistics. It’s possible to show only the tagged IP addresses.
Tagging by Cookie:
This is the cool stuff :) For example: if you have a website where users can login you can track every user using the ‘tagging by cookie’ functionality. Just set a cookie with the user name and you’re done! You can configure the name of the tag-cookie. It’s possible to show only the visits that are tagged by this cookie.
You can see a preview, read the usage instructions and download a copy of Nametags via its Mint Forum Thread.
